From St.Jérôme & Northern Québec:
Autoroute 15 south (sud) will take you directly to Montréal and to autoroute 40.

From Terrebonne & Mascouche:
Autoroute 25 south (sud) will take you to Laval where it merges with autoroute 440. Follow autoroute 440 west (ouest) to the autoroute 15 exit. Take autoroute 15 south (sud) which will take you directly to Montréal and to autoroute 40.

From Québec City:
Autoroutes 40 west (ouest) and 20 west will take you directly to Montréal's east end, where autoroute 20 merges with autoroute 40.

From Trois-Rivières:
Autoroute 40 west (ouest) will take you directly to Montréal's east end.

From Sorel:
Follow autoroute 30 south (sud) to autoroute 20. Autoroute 20 west (ouest) will take you directly to Montréal's east end and merge with autoroute 40.

From Sherbrooke & Magog:
Autoroute 10 west (ouest) will take you directly to Montréal via the Champlain bridge.

From Ottawa:
Follow highway 417 east. In Québec this becomes autoroute 40 east (est) and will take you directly to Montréal's west end.

From Toronto & southern Ontario:
Follow highway 401 east. In Québec this becomes autoroute 20 east (est). Please pay attention to signs at the 20/540 interchange. After this interchange, autoroute 20 seems to end but in fact becomes a boulevard crossing the town of Dorion. If you remain on this boulevard it will resume as an autoroute once across a second bridge, and will take you directly to Montréal's west end.

From Plattsburgh & Interstate 87:
Follow interstate 87 north. Across the border this becomes autoroute 15 north (nord). Autoroute 15 north will then merge with highway 132. Follow this to the Champlain bridge exit (pont Champlain). The bridge takes you to Montréal.

From Burlington & Interstate 89:
Follow interstate 89 north. Across the border this becomes highway 133 north (nord) which in turn becomes autoroute 35 north (nord) which ends at autoroute 10. Autoroute 10 west (ouest) will take you to Montréal across the Champlain bridge.

From Interstate 91:
Follow interstate 91 north. Across the border this becomes autoroute 55 north (nord). Follow autoroute 55 north to autoroute 10. Go west (ouest) on autoroute 10. Autoroute 10 west will take you to Montréal across the Champlain bridge.
