Beaver Lake is located in Mount-royal park.

If you're from out of town, you may want to refer to the general directions to Montréal.

By bus & metro:
Get off the metro at the Mont-Royal station (orange line). Take the 11 Montagne bus west-bound and get off at Lac aux Castors. The lake is just beyond the trees past the parking lot. Please refer to the map above for an exact location.

From the north (Autoroute 15):
Continue on autoroutre 15 south to autoroute 40. Take the left ramp onto autoroute 40 east (est). Continue on autoroute 40 east to the De l'Acadie exit. Take the exit and follow signs to de l'Acadie south (sud). Follow directions from De l'Acadie below.

From east end Montréal:
Follow autoroute 40 west (ouest) until you come to the exit for De l'Acadie. Take the exit and follow signs for l'Acadie south (sud) Follow directions from De l'Acadie below.

From Champlain Bridge:
Once across the bridge you will be on autoroute 15 north (nord). Continue to exit 61 - Atwater street. From Exit 61 Take a left at the fork, to take the Atwater Tunnel. Take left at the second light to go north on Atwater. Follow directions from Atwater street below.

From the west end (autoroute 40):
Follow autoroute 40 east (est) until you come to the "De l'Acadie" exit. Take the exit and follow signs to de l'Acadie south (sud). Follow directions from De l'Acadie below.

From the west end (autoroute 20):
On autoroute 20 east (est) follow signs for Downtown Montreal (Centre-Ville) and autoroute 720, also known as the Ville-Marie expressway (autoroute Ville-Marie). The two center lanes of autoroute 20 will merge with Ville-Marie. Continue on the Ville-Marie expressway to the Atwater exit (exit 70). Take the exit and continue to the second traffic light. At the light, turn left onto Notre-Dame. Continue two more corners on Notre-Dame to Atwater. Turn left on Atwater and follow directions from Atwater street below.

On De l'Acadie, continue south to the end of the boulevard, where you will turn left on Beaumont Avenue. Continue to the end of Beaumont where you will turn right on Parc Avenue (avenue du Parc). Continue on Parc to Mont-Royal avenue where you will turn right. Once on Mont-Royal, go left at the fork in the road going up the mountain on Camilien-Houde boulevard. Stay on this road until you pass the Police station and follow signs for "Lac aux Castors". You will pass a large parking lot on your left. Continue to a fork in the road and take the left. Continue around the hairpin curve. Once out of the curve you will be heading in the opposite direction. There will be a smaller parking lot to your right. Lac aux Castors is just beyond this parking lot. Please refer to the map above for an exact location.

On Atwater, continue for several blocks to the end of the street where there is a stop sign. At the stop, turn right on Docteur-Penfield. On Docteur Penfield, get on the left lane. Turn left at the light onto Ch. Côte-des-Neiges. On Ch. Côte-des-Neiges keep to your right. You will come to a set of yellow blinking lights and You'll see a «Parc du Mont-Royal» sign. At the blinking lights, turn right onto Rememberance road (Chemin Rememberance). On Rememberance road, continue past one stop. There will be a parking lot to your right. Lac aux Castors is just beyond this parking lot. Please refer to the map above for an exact location.
